Nicole Bernstein is former hi-tech marketing executive turned education policy advocate and political strategist.
Granddaughter of Holocaust survivors and the first American-born child of an Israeli immigrant family, Nicole spent the first half of her career as a high-tech executive in Silicon Valley and then Tel Aviv, where her startup won recognition as one of Israel’s “Top 10 Best Women-Led Companies” in 2007.
Shifting her attention to the nonprofit world in 2012, Nicole has focused on political advocacy, education policy reform, and grassroots mobilization. She has formally served as the Executive Director of San Diego’s StandWithUs and AIPAC chapters; and in 2021 Nicole co-founded PeerK12, a nonprofit that is dedicated to unapologetically protecting Jewish civil rights in K–12 education through grassroots action, policy advocacy, and legal enforcement at the school district, state, and federal levels.
