Marcy Bruck is the director of communications for The Foundation for Genocide Education. The mission of the foundation is to ensure that the history and stages of genocide are taught to every high school student in Canada to educate them about the dangers of extremist hate and intolerance.
Born and raised in Montreal, she has been with the foundation since its inception in 2014, and is responsible for raising awareness about its mission, educational programs and advocacy work. Marcy has an extensive background in marketing and community volunteer organizations.
Marcy is also the daughter-in-law of a Holocaust survivor. She is passionate about the need for genocide education to ensure that the next generations are equipped with the knowledge and the compassion to prevent hate and intolerance from developing in our young people.
