Eloise Thorpe

Eloise is a South African-born German first generation Israeli Jew.

She worked in criminal justice in post-Apartheid South Africa and was part of several litigations brought against former President Zuma, who had strong connections to Iran, among others.

Eloise’s real passion is graphics and writing, contributing regularly to large publications like The Mail & Guardian and Washington Post. She has also been published in university textbooks.

Eloise is a proud Zionist and secular Jew. Through her life in Israel, she connects with diverse faiths and ethnicities, bearing witness to how differences are irrelevant in the face of war.

Eloise is working on a book of poetry dedicated to the victims of the October 7 massacre, some she personally knew. She’s now adding her voice to our fight against radical Islamism, hoping to demonstrate how words are more powerful than swords.
