The Clarity Coalition stands unequivocally in support of the Iranian people and their decades-long struggle against theocratic tyranny. For over four decades, Iranians have endured murder, imprisonment, gender apartheid, and the ruthless suppression of dissent at the hands of the Islamic Republic and its Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). We honor their resistance and believe in a meaningful future for a strong democratic Iran with equal rights for all individuals.
In a preemptive military response on June 13th, Israel launched Operation Rising Lion, targeting key Regime nuclear and military infrastructure. These actions are not acts of aggression, but acts of survival. As Iran inches closer to nuclear capability, the cost of inaction grows existential—not only for Israel, but for regional and global security.
The Islamic Republic is the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism, with a vast web of proxies stretching from Syria and Lebanon to Yemen and beyond. Nuclear weapons in the hands of such a regime—and potentially, its proxies—would be catastrophic. Iran’s threats to withdraw from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and its use of civilians as human shields reflect the regime’s instability and disregard for human lives, not power.
Some organizations and individuals, claiming to represent Iranians or “Muslim communities” have called for the end of Western support for Israel and the end of Israel itself. We reject their complicity in enabling Islamist authoritarianism.
The collapse of the regime in Tehran—whether gradual or catalyzed by this conflict—remains possible, and increasingly plausible. It would be a victory not only for the Iranian people, but for the universal values of democracy, secularism, and human rights.
This is not merely a regional war—it is a confrontation between authoritarianism and freedom. We call on the world to amplify Iranian dissidents, uphold moral clarity, and stand on the right side of history.
